Hey...well, I made a mistake about my bushing being toast...I went to put a new one on the end of the shifter, put the cap back on...and I COULD get into first second fifth and reverse...the one's I couldn't get into before...but not third and fourth, the ones I could get into originally. I discovered there was a fine bushing in there already...so the mystery stands...where did all that broken plastic come from on top of the rubber seal under the spring? And is this the source of my problems?? Any thoughts out there would be appreciated!
