Building this for our enjoyment rather than trying to do everything stock....... My talents lay more with saws and sandpaper than wrenches. ..... Best of all, all cherry that was laying around when we bought our house 18 years ago. Will add a top to the cubbies and use that to hold up the jump seats.

What do you expect to use the sliding tracks in the floor for?

Figure eyebolt can slide in if I ever need to secure something. Dog bed will be there most of the time

yeah, in my summer hood, though DB's was sold last year. I think I actually had that catalog. Yes, it is a drop down tail gate.

the tail gate part isn't finished yet, still needs to be sanded and the "end caps" attached. Trying to decide whether to cut the wood around where the chain attaches to the tail gate, or just get longer bolts and go through the wood. Thinking the latter.
