Rocky, you beat me to it.
I appreciate people like you that show the community was is out there.. some folks keeps things to themselves..
Was planning to put this on Mud this weekend.
But now it's easier for me to just add pictures and say a little more about it..

It's a great running car. When I first got it, it was not running good. Saw that 2 of the pistons were bad. Ended up changing all the pistons and rings. Did an engine overhaul, of course all gaskets were changed.

I put a new water pump, changed the radiator, new brake booster, the speedometer and hand brake have new cables, they work perfect. The brakes are drums and it's been overhauled.

Transmission is a 4 speed. It shifts easily and has great torque.

The wheels are balanced and the car drives straight.

There is no rust or welds on the chassis. It is straight.

The floors have rust. You will see in pictures that I will post. The rear of the cabin floor has diamond plate put on top of it. From under the car you can see the exact spots that has the rust. You wont tell from inside the car since it has the plate on it.. The front passenger and driver floors are solid but has a rust spots as well.

The soft top is and looks great. Its fit the car just perfect. All the zippers work. If you want to put the side top panels down, they will easily and comfortably close. No issues.

The doors are all solid with no rust. The close tight.

The dash has a cut to fit the aftermarket old style stereo.

I put a new oil pressure sending unit, new temprature sending unit. New spark plugs, new oil filter.

Good and bad news for the power steering. The bad is the car does not have power steering. As it is now, it turns very fine and you dont need to put much pressure to turn it. The good thing is that I have an aftermarket power steering unit with all the parts except for the Bracket that the power steering will sit on. It has to be installed just outside the front crossmember, driver side. It is the same unit that the compnay SOR.com sells at their website. It's an expensive unit setup. This unit comes with the FJ43.
Just need to built yourself a bracket. You will see a picture of it on SOR..

Everyone is more then welcome to see the car, inspect and take it for a spin.. it is located in La Crescenta, 91214.

Stupid question since I haven't owned an FJ before, and have never seen a soft top FJ43 in person. How easy is it to raise and lower the whole soft top (and is it feasible to lower it and drive around in the 43?). I used to own a 2003 TJ, so it wasn't too bad to take down (5 - 10 mins), but was still a little longer to get back up with all the little plastic clips. It was also nice that with the back seat in, the side and back windows would fit snugly between the back seat and the gate with the top resting above them, without me having to store the windows anywhere special.

The factory style tops on a 40 and 43 do not "raise and lower". It is a process in which the entire top is removed and fairly time consuming. With that said, you can raise the side windows in a matter of minutes and depending on the hinges, remove the doors for an open air feeling...but not a "convertible." Bestop makes a top that raises and lowers but pretty sure they do not make them for a 43.

I'm assuming there is no smog equipment on this?

Another nice looking truck @edmond4822!

I'm out of town until next week but if you still have it when I get back I'd love to come over and see it. I'd love to see the details of the soft top ambulance doors and take some pictures for my notes to get mine going.
