Curious where this was at? This morning everything from Payson, Cordes Junction and Prescott heading north was closed.

West of williams area. Been here for a few days. Started snowing at 12:53 last night, kept through 11am, stoped until 3 and dusted another 3” on me.
Took it down the road a lil. Think its about 12-15” total(not counting melted). My area IS closed, i was here before the snow and the rain. Prob got 3+ inches of rain too. It is going to be very soupy.

Take it you have a bull elk permit? Timing of this storm couldn't have been worse for hunt.

What does the LC look like today? Making it home back here in the Valley safely I assume.

It melted off of it, got replaced with 500#’s of mud. I hate mud.

The hail was nuts yesterday. I was in mesa and a cell that hit me was crazy. Your pic makes me think you got more than me!
Land Cruiser + N. AZ snow = volcano access. 'Tis the season. The old 3FE had to pull some hunters' big trucks out of the snow on this outing.
Dusting of snow on the ground Christmas morning in Prescott Valley, approx 5350 ft. But melted very quickly, they are expecting more later today though. I hear two reports, one says snow down to 3500, other says 4100, so some of our Mtns around Phoenix may have snow on top. Cheers

Yes. I have a house up there but work in Phoenix during the week, typically go North each weekend
Not northern AZ but I-8 just past Alpine. We got stuck once in the Corolla but my daughter took over and drove while I pushed. She got it to the top of the pass, I walked up hill where she waited for me. Her first time driving in the snow and she did really well. The whole time I was telling her I wish I had brought the 4Runner or the 80.
