I knocked on the door - with a metal baton - and no one answered! And the door was locked!! And I couldn't see any lights on!!!

Oh well. I'll just collect my losses and move on. Maybe someday I'll find a small dark hovel to live in and---

Took the old J80 out to explore some remote northern Arizona hinterlands with @kelly saad -- including a very large Ancestral Puebloan heritage site, and an area near where a pair of jaguars was killed in 1912. The pot sherds were of course left where found. Damn it's dry out.

Speaking of Jaguars - the last Aston-Martin in northern AZ died in Flagstaff in 2011, from a leaking head gasket.

I was delivering fresh sourdough to some friends. That’s great that your kid has an eagle eye for cruisers.

I’ve seen a very pristine white FJ80 (91/2) around Flagstaff. Is that yours?

Yep, been really enjoying running around town as I tackle all the maintenance items. Knuckles, diffs, trans oil and oil change are up next.
