Events/Trails Northern AZ CSC meetings

Let me know what you all think. Here you go. Sorry, I have been a lazy slacker! I have changed the Friday night meetings to Saturday mornings. Lets try it.

06/06 8:00 AM. Meet at Eat & Run for Breakfast. We will wander some local trails afterwards.
07/11 8:00 AM. Meet at Eat & Run for Breakfast. We will enjoy some local trails afterwards.
08/15 8:00 AM. Meet at Eat & Run for Breakfast. We will conquer some local trails afterwards.
09/06 Weekend drive to Cruiserfest at the Museum in Salt Lake. Leave Friday September 11th, camp somewhere near the event. September 12th is the full day event, Camp that night again. Leave Sunday and drive back.
10/10 11:00 AM BBQ at my shop in Cottonwood, then head out on trails between Cottonwood and Sedona.
11/07 8:00 AM Meet at Eat & Run for Breakfast. We will discover local trails afterwards.
12/05 8:00 AM Meet in Sedona for Breakfast (location TBD) and adventure afterwards.


As for the trip to Cruiserfest. I will let everyone know if enough people that want to join in this trip. If not, then we will do something local. I am going off the last years dates as a guess. I could be off here, but this is the idea for a weekend trip of Land Cruiser fun. Taking the 89 most of the way.

Yesterday was great! Thanks to everyone that attended. I think there were 9 of us at breakfast. Afterwards, 3 of us went down Lake Mary rd, up past Lake Marshall, down behind Walnut Canyon and then over the 40 to some very nice ruins. It was a good day.

Had a great time. Bummed I did not make it to the end, but the ground was simply too hot for the dog.

Just got off the phone with @kelly saad and here's the OnX (.gpx) and Google Maps (.kml) route for tomorrow's June 20th 2026 NAZ Land Cruiser Club trip.

The route starts at the Marshall Lake parking lot at the end of the first switchback (35°05'20.68"N 111°31'53.21"W) and loops around Anderson Mesa and the Cinder Hills and the north side of the Peaks and then comes back in to Sechrist Elementary (35°13'21.59"N 111°39'14.94"W) and ends there.

The plan is to start at 8am and Kelly and I figure it will take until about 2 pm with stops and lunch included. They did it last weekend and nobody needed lockers, although there is a little section below Marshall Lake that will require some crawling but nothing overly technical. We'll show everyone a meet up spot if people are not interested in doing that section.

### Update #### - There are three options to bail along the way, if anyone's interested - 1) I-40, 2) Leupp Rd, and/or 3) When we hit Hwy 89 ###
