Good for you! I bet you can't wait to hear it run, but be patient. Take the time to properly prepare it to be started up if it's been sitting for a long time. There's plenty of information here and we would all like to see you make the best of it. Those old ones are the coolest. Excellent find! Very rare!

There will probably be a few things you'll want to do to make it more driveable, but the purist in me advises not to go too far and butcher it all up. A rare Landcruiser like that deserves to be rescued and preserved in its original state.

LOL. Mike's Scout needs a lot more work. Yesterday, some of my buddies from Colorado 4x4 helped us get the FJ out of storage and it's now sitting in my garage! I was just a whirl of energy and then once we got her home, I felt drained...as if I could sleep for a week.

My wheeling buddies were quite jealous and asking me how much I would sell it for. It is original stock....even has the same glass filter (thingie? since I don't really know what it's called yet) No way! I've been waiting a long time for this and now she is finally here.

I will have to start a list and take it one step at a time....can I start a Build-Up thread somewhere on here?
