Well I found a set....

anybody have any idea on what these things are worth?

I was quoted $300 plus shipping from Australia...not sure if that's worth it or not.

If you're replacing a rusty tailgate with a solid one, then it's likely worth it (I can't imagine your '61 tailgate being rusty yet though as the Japanese trucks that I've seen are showroom condition). As I understand it the OEM ones are either no longer available or limited to stock on hand. I would be prepared for some body work though as it won't be a simple bolt on project.

I saw that truck at TLC, and talked to the owner (the parts manager guy). He said the holes for the hinges are there, behind some body filler.

Thats a good price for a complete set of barn doors if they are rust free.
Just be aware that most wreckers in oz sell the doors without windows,seals or handles.
It can get very pricey if you have to track down all the little bits and pieces.
