73 has been running good. Today at gym turned key with and nothing. Jump box in truck just in case started up with a Noco boost.
Got home and tested battery which is good at 13v. Charged battery just in case I had bad reading but went back out hours later and same thing. Nothing, no click, nothing.
Interesting is when I hook up noco it keeps clicking and I have to hit override button which starts vehicle.
Thoughts? Starter, started solenoid? I know everyone will say grounds so check all that out. Distributor is good, ignition switch is new
Thanks

Load test the battery.
Battery voltage can be fine, but amps output not.

The contacts in the solenoid on the starter can get really pitted up. If you are game they can be cleaned up with a file. Ignition switch can be bad or the connection at the starter is corroded.

+1 for load test the battery. Also check the crimp connectors on the cables - corrosion can crawl under the insulation ruining the wire.
I just bought new 2/0 cables - cranks much better now.

Crappy battery tenders tend to fry batteries if left on long term. I like to leave them on overnight once or twice a week.

Im not a fan of the gear reduction starters, for poor reasons.....but their solenoids are a piece of cake to rebuild. Kits can be had on Mississippi or Nile for cheap, and it usually takes longer to get the starter on the bench than actually replacing the contacts.
