No oil to head in 73 FJ40 - F Engine

@tahoe40/45 here’s what I experienced with my early F as far as getting oil to the rockers using a dtill to run the oil pump. I bumped the engine using in-gear rocking until oil started flowing, then checked the status of each cylinder’s valves.

Big deal! Oil to rockers, driven by drill.


And for tech, this was the position and status of each cylinder when oil finally started flowing at the top. So Cyl #3 or #5 at TDC? Who really knows as long as it’s flowing!
