No Matter Where the Road Takes Me, Coastal Cruisers Will Always Feel Like Home

To my Coastal Cruisers family,

I’ve been putting off writing this post for a while now because I knew the moment I did… it would make everything feel real.

It’s hard to put into words what this group has meant to me over the years. From muddy recoveries and breakdowns, to campfire laughs, incredible trails, and even the really ugly moments we somehow still laugh about later — every adventure has become part of some of my fondest memories.

You are far more than just a 4x4 club. You are an amazing group of people who welcomed me, challenged me, supported me, and shared experiences I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

For a long time, I knew the day would come when my family would need me back in Ontario. I had already started making plans to transfer to one of my company’s eastern offices when life threw me a curveball and my layoff accelerated that opportunity sooner than expected.

While I’m excited for this next chapter, leaving behind this community is not easy. Coastal Cruisers has been a huge part of my life, and every trail, every trip, and every one of you has left a lasting mark on me.

Thank you all for the memories, the friendships, the support, and the adventures — the good, the bad, and the really ugly. I’ll cherish them always.

This isn’t goodbye forever — just a different trail ahead.

We had some great times Drew, and I feel the same about
the Coastal Cruisers. A truly an exceptional group of fine people
and shared memories. Good luck on whichever trails you ride in the years ahead.

Off to new adventures. I've flown survey all across Ontario for years. Amazing gorgeous backcountry everywhere.
For a start check out graveltravels.ca a site originally set up by dual purpose guy, but well researched and good
place to look. Invest heavily in Cosmoline on the undercarriage of your rig. Before it's first winter.
Will you be at the Cruiser Days in July? Or gone by then?

Make sure you carry a side arm in the back country of Ontario...some of those mosquitos are massive!

Sorry to see you go Drew, but life happens. You'll be missed.
Maybe catch you on 40 meters when you get set up, though I haven't had a lot of luck getting many ontario contacts.
