If I were to install ARB lockers, do I HAVE to get a new ring and pinion? I searched and looked at the FAQ, but have not come to a definitive answer.

I know the majority of people on hear recommend regearing at the same time. However, if I don't have to spend the money on new gears, I won't, mainly cause I don't need the gearing.

No, you can reuse your existing gears.

the reason most people regear is because you have to tear things apart to get the ARB in you might as well do this at the same time, and most people who have arb's to put in have larger than stock tires. It isnt needed though.
