I pulled it apart for a “Full Monty” restoration but then realised housing was clean as inside along with face plates and other bits and pieces, so decided not to touch it. All the mechanisms have been professionally recalibrated and working as it should.
Now both inside plate and top cover needs work. I tried a guy for the inside plate but not happy with the results. Top cover is another story, it was pitted and after the blasting metal turned into the cheese in some places. It can be repaired with some effort or the best is swap the top cover with a good one.
Everything else is in excellent nick for the age and won’t need anything else to put it together. All the rubber seals around the glass are stolen from another cluster and are in excellent shape, also I have sourced the good bulb holders to replace the old oxidised once. Green indicator piece is all there but have seen the good days as we all know (lol). Original FJ25 mounting screws are also included.
