um, any more on this? I have only my Tacoma to wheel, and not much free time, but, is anyone planning on doing anything?

i hope so, it's tradition! it was the first run i went on with these yahoos, errr gentleman, a couple years ago, had the 80 for a whopping 3 days!

what about mt taylor or something? i' m guessing right now the hard part will be not getting buried by snow... something other than jemez? i'll go there again but i'm up for new?

I might be talked into something...Still got Pappy's chains unless he needs them :hhmm:

Your Taco ain't gonna get very far if the snow stays deep. Sorry dude :D Tell ya what, come up to the house and see if you can get the mail in the Taco :flipoff2:

I did a mild snow run yesterday in Golden, NM and it was all about four chains and lots of work.

Since I don't have chains and the snow is guaranteed to be deep, I guess I'm out on this one.

Hey Ali, do you have any trail recommendations for my rig for Cruise Moab this year? I expect to be running 35's by then and regeared to 4.88 but have to deal with the manual transmission :frown:

I think my Taco won't have new gears in by then. They'd be on a light use break-in period anyway. You'll have to count me out. If the sl33p3 family isn't going, I'll ride shotgun?

This thread needs some traction. Are we talking about Sunday or Monday?

We were planning on going. I don't have chains, but managed the past two years without.

It's time you do some trail blazing :flipoff2:

I am up for a traditional New Year's Day snow run on Sunday. I have chains for all four. I am open as to location.

I want to go but both kids are still hacking from their colds and Colin's asthma is acting up.

have fun out there! I'm out ,gotta put 50 miles on the bike or im gonna be as heavy as the LX450!

well if you ride a real bike, not one of those skinny tire things... bring it along! snow will get you your workout! and you won't need close to 50miles! :flipoff2:

Hate to see the tradition dying. One of these days I'll get the 60 back to being reliable enough for off-road action. I finally broke down and have arranged for a "real mechanic" to replace my whining AC clutch bearing. A big step since no one else has touched any of my junk in at least 25 years. Wish I had access to my tools...
