OK, how about a headcount, and then maybe a location discussion among those who are going.

I am interested, maybe the Sl33p3 family and/or gr8wrk (I have a seat if you need one). Maybe the Ali's? Keith and family? Maybe Lurch?

I am open to the Jemez, just because I am familiar with it. If we started on the south end of Paliza (near Ponderosa), we may be able to get in there a ways before getting stopped. The elevation is lower and maybe the snow's not quite so deep as higher up.

I am also willing to try somewhere else if someone knows the terrain and is willing to lead.

I will be offline for several hours this afternoon/evening, but I will check back later tonight.

If no one else has a better idea, I propose North Portal at 9:00 AM Sunday (tomorrow) and we can go from there.

Yep its a very fast cervelo. I can get it all done just over 2hrs out of my door on the road. mtn bike would be fun but a 2hr drive after a 2 hr ride would suck.
 
Should we just call this one and plan something on a later date with more interest? I haven't packed anything up yet only to unpack if this is a no go, which it is starting to look like.
 
We'll be heading somewhere near the crest and maybe down FR-165 for some sledding and tubing action. I don't have a desire to get up early and drive for 1.5 hours to go snow wheeling. The Gunderson's will be joining us as well. Unfortunately, Capulin will be closed tomorrow so we'll have to find somewhere else to play in the snow.

If you do want to go play near the crest, meet at the Shell station at Frost/N-14 around 10:30 am.

yeah I have to say I got my snow fix with the tree run and the storms at the house, but getting out a little sounds good. The jemez is quite a trek from or place... If my fam makes anything it will be the shell station.

Good day for sledding today, everybody and their dogs were out. Lots of stuck 2wd vehicles out there, holy cow! 165 was accessible and was full of stuck rigs so we stayed out of it.
