I also got freebie ironman traction mats and have used them quite a lot in the snow: they work.

But!
the toxic green color is fugly. I'm considering the idea of buying a new set because I dislike how they look so much.
has anyone tried to paint them? I wonder if just hitting the sides would work well enough.

I bet u could paint em but some would probably rub off first time using them though...but still better than that toxic green..

Doesn't bother me since I carry them in the back and not mounted to the side of my rig like earrings lol.

That makes sense, I still throw them in the back though I have mostly used them in snow so far. Id definitely like a black set next time around but these ones were free so cant complain.

Sooo, has anyone actually used these Roto Trax yet? Never needed anything like this for my Cruisers but am looking to use for my F350 in the sand.

Unless they provide these in bright orange and offer a complimentary truckers cap and beard manicure kit I dont think Im interested.
