hey eveyone,

this site has been recommended to me from a friend, looks like a great community.

owned a 1995 tacoma, 1999 4 runner ( rusted frame ) and a 2002 4 runner that ill miss till i die ( bent the frame in CO commuting to work off the mountain to Denver )

Im now in a 2011 gx 460 and have had some transmission issues.
-late engagement in reverse cold and semi late engagement up to temp

let me know if you has thoughts on this.

These are not zero maintenance transmissions.

The best way to overcome that aching feeling you get from your long- lost favorite rig? Buy a 40 series: no computers, no automation and no fluff. Just you and a simple, well-made machine.

Welcome to the GX forum!
As a heads-up, there are some great sticky posts on the main page, one of which is the GX 460 Manuals post. In there you can down load the entire FSM for the GX, albeit, it's actually a combination of a down load of a ton of PDF's and a link to a website that's the menu to access them.
This may not help you now, but keep it in the back of your mind for future use.
