Hello, fellow mudders!

I finally jumped into the off-road world and after much research and looking, I purchased a 2002 Lexus LX470 with 147k miles. I’m mostly hoping for a vehicle that can haul the whole family deeper into the Utah mountains, but I’d also like it to be capable enough that I can take it through the likes of Hell’s Revenge, Poison Spider, Elephant Hill, etc. without doing all of the craziest features.

The LX is currently pretty much stock with working AHC and 33” K02s. Aside from a few small reliability and comfort upgrades, the first order of business is removing the factory running boards and getting some rock sliders.

I want a bolt-on setup with the kick out in the back. I’ve seen several options out there, but the ones I like best are probably the Rocky Road sliders. I’m looking for something clean, simple, and durable. Does anyone have experience with Rocky Road or have a different recommendation? Thanks in advance!

Can second the WKOR Sliders. They have a kick-out on the rear, and plenty beefy. They have a standard 5% discount for MUD members year-round, but you can always wait for them to announce a sale in their vendor thread.
