The barrels only rough the first 100 times or so, then you get used to it.

North of the ohio, and east of Illinois they just bang each other, rather than their relatives.

Check out this site. I have never been there but know a bunch of jeep guys that go there.
Badlands

Aw Gawd Dayum!

I have heard of that place. I hear the only trails I should try are the beginner trails....Ill stick to the show and shines, tech days, and meet and greets. My jap crap ain't trail rated after all... :frown:

Got it, I do not free base cocaine. Or anything else. Im guessing yammering is talking alot. Not reaally. My wife doesn't either. No kids yet, but not far away. So what is "the barrel" cause I haven't heard. Also, does the HC only do events or is there any random get togethers. Traveling anywhere other than south is not likely to happen, but willing to travel some. Also is anyone doing the GSMTR here soon im def interested in that or going to TELLICO OHM. I can kill two birds with one stone then. Also, anyone directly in the evansville area. Cause I only seen one cruiser, and that's mine.

I think Cruiser Clint is going to GSMTR this year. PM him, he was just talking about getting a group together. He loves crawdads.

I will try to get in touch with him, in the mean time with this warm weather we are having, is anyone interested in an afternoon run at interlake. Or is there anyone remotely close to it or evansville?

You're kinda in the dead zone down there. We've got a few members in your area, but it'll be a bit before they can get to town to use the inner-nets to respond.:hillbilly:

Or you could just lean out your window and holler "BOOTY" real loud and see if a feller in a red 40 pulls up. I can't really vouch for anyone else that might show up.:D

Yeah. Not really gonna drive 6 hours to do an afternoon run at interlake. I've never been, but from what I've heard I'm not really all that interested in even driving 6 hours to do a weekend at interlake.

We get to Redbird on occasion, although even that is a long drive for a trail ride. I'd rather drive 5 hours and hit Washita.

Yeah, interlake is def not the best, but hell for me being in Indiana is pretty crappy. Only here for the money lol
I maybe the deer. So just making lemonade. So what's red bird all about? I would like to find some good rocks to crawl on. Ever heard of Windrock ? Its outside of oakridge, tn and it has everything I could ever ask for. Hopefully those boy in the area gimme a ring

From me Farmington(400 miles) is just about 7.5 hours, Duggar(280 miles) is about 5.5 hours. Washita would be worth the 2 extra hours.

Did someone mention my name?

Goose64 welcome to the neighborhood. I live between Princeton and Francisco, drive a '74 FJ40, and have only been to Interlake twice. We will have to hit it sometime this spring, the 40 takes the winters off, no top, no doors, no heat. Plus it needs to spend some time in the garage.

Good to have another cruiser in the area, this group of guys is kind of intimadating on here, but they are some nice guys(just don't tell anyone, it will ruin their rep). Just do some research of the posts on this club and the Ill-windy site, you will see the same people posting in both sites. Check out the posts about Badlands, and PYS(our little trips to MO) and you will see pics of our rigs and some of the wheeling we do.

We do hit the Badlands quite a few times each year, it works out great as a place for our group as anything from almost stock to "extreme side of extreme" can make the trip and find some fun. The camping is a whole nuther experience, filled with insitefull conversations and adult beverages. Also you will learn what _ilching( sorry this computer will not type out the letter that comes after Y) is, also the proper way to make a gasoline valcano(as long as someone brings some beer with the screw on caps), and many other things that will boggle your mind and make you the star of the watercooler at work Mon. morning.

Most of the rest of the group is from Indy north and the Chicago area(big city boys),you should see them ooh and aaw at a star filled sky.

As for GSMTR, it is a great time if you can make it, go. Can't say anything about the place they have it at now but have heard great things about it. We use to go when it was at Tellico(closed down in 2008) and had some great times. With it being held in mid May it doesn't fit into many of this groups plans. Richard(another 40 guy from Mt. Vernon IN) and I have talked of making a trip back to Tenn. or eastern KY. Windrock and Harlin are some places I'd like to get to, if not this year maybe next year.

Damn, seem to be a little yammery tonight. Keep posting and checking in and don't take anything here too personal, we are some really nice people no matter what everyone else says. We will start coming out of the winter blahs about mid March and we can run to interlake or you can follow me to Badlands to meet the crew.

If anyone asks, we pushed you out of the car while it was moving...

Does that mean no one can see us "love" each other?....Or do people just see me vigorously abusing myself behind my tent....

When anyone is faced with life's challenges & can't make a decition just ask yourself
