New to FJ40s, getting a 1969

I would rent a trailer and use a come-a-long to winch it onto the trailer. Lots of muscle work, but would be cheaper, especally if you have a long haul. You will need straps and chains to strap it down with.
Might also consider a two wheel tow dolly. hope this helps

Congrats! I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I think that pic in the rear view mirror is Awesome! You're gonna love the 40.. then hate it for a minute.. but you'll figure it out & love it again pretty quick. :o Enjoy.
 
This is my 69 when I first got it home. I am now putting everything back together. Should be done by January 2012

Cool. Mind if I ask you questions from time to time, seeing as how we own sister ships?
