New-to-be member, Veteran Island HDJ81

Hi All,

My name is Chris and I am the proud new owner of Steve's(wussypup) rig. Steve was gracious enough to let his baby go to a new home, and I'm excited to have her! The truck needed a few things and it's nearly ready to drive again thanks to the help of Nick(GTS...e)! He kind of got me in to this, and I think he will get me through it too! I am documenting all the stuff that I'm doing to the truck to provide some info on this forum in return for info/support as many of you do. I've attached a link to my profile where you can start to see what I'm up to. Nick suggested I start a build thread at some point. I'm just as new to forum involvement as I am to the land cruiser scene!

Congrats, I've always loved Steve's truck. It may have been the first 80 I've ever wheeled in... perhaps? I may have a few photos of it too

After going for a day with Steve and Vern I was immediately convinced I must purchase a LC for myself and thus I was started on my journey. Check the "Fat Lady" post in the 80 series thread (linked below in my sig) for my build thread. Also, add yourself to "80 Series in Canada" facebook group, I started that a few months ago for us Canadian 80 series owners to share horror stories and rants... err, I mean, advice and stories.
