Left overs from restoration. Set of 1995 80 series factory leather power seat take-offs. All panels need a good cleaning. Drivers seat has two tears. Arm rest is rough but salvagable. Remaining parts are in good shape. No third row. DM for more pics.
$200 plus shipping.

Not great, as you might expect. Two tears and some pretty deep wrinkles. If I were going to use it I would scrub the heck out of the skin, repair the tears and glue a backup panel below the tears to reinforce. Then fill all the wrinkles with leather filler and respray. I've done some pretty magical things with leather filler and leather spray. My steering wheel came out looking new. I attached some closeups for you.

Curious, what did you use to replace leather and carpet.

Long story and a lot of work getting there. I got color samples from every manufacturer that I could find, after months of research on carpet and leather options. I read reviews on people's experiences with different brands, talked to a number of the manufacturers and eventually ruled out all of the cheaper or poorly reviewed options out there. IH8Mud was a huge resource!

CARPETS
Auto Carpet Depot, out of Jackson, MS, worked with AAC to build the molds to make fitted carpets for the 80 Series Cruisers. AAC made me a set with the tight pile, closest to the original density and color but mass backed for thermal and noise reduction.

SEATS
Katzkins had bought Roadwire, the only guys that knew how to make a true 40th Anniversary set. But Katzkins refused to make a true 40th Anniversary replica set for me. They were insisting on headrests and side panels being a different color. I talked Rob at Mosley into convincing the guys at Katzkins to make him a replica set. A few stitch lines weren't perfectly straight but almost impossible to notice. I had them put in perforated panels where I had installed seat cooling and heating under legs and lower/mid back areas on the front seats. It all came out great!

Definitely worth all the extra trouble and got to know some really great people along the path.

Sorry to drag on. There really isn't an simple way to answer your simple question.

No, I appreciate the details. Pertinent negatives are just as important as the wins. Sounds like you have/had a great project.

Thanks
