I started hearing this noise 2 days ago. It seems to be coming from the fan, belt or some pulley, not sure. Any ideas?

Loosen the alternator at the bracket and take the belt off completely. Fire it back up briefly and you can narrow down the alternator or water pump being the culprit if the noise disappears. A bearing was going out in my alternator a while back making a similar kind of noise. If it's either of those it will change pitch or speed when you rev the engine.
