I will most definitely have another 80 one day though. I have loved those thing since the 1st time I saw one on the trail. It had an arb bumper and 285 bfg's and was following a 1 ton tj up slick rock at tellico after towing him up there!

Finally got some photos of my Fj60. Just painted my headlight bezels and grill today. PO had done a very crappy spray in a weird grey.

Heres the only bad rust spot on the truck

but its ok I ordered a rear bumper kit from fourRunner here's half of it that came in today. Can't wait to weld this thing up and get it on the truck.

Its not the only rust on it but that's the worst of it. Both rear arches have a dime sized area were surface rust is bubbling through the paint and then the frame and axles both have a bit of surface rust but nothing bad at all. Like I said it took 2 years of looking to find one in this good of shape but it was totally worth it, esp for the price we got it at.

Spoke to Fourrunner a few times, seemed like a real nice guy. Was going to go this route before i found a sror bumper in nc.

The rest of the bumper kit came in today as well as my welcome pack to Upstate Cruisers! Thanks guys!

Next up my dad and I are going to order add-a-leafs for the rear end and dual swing outs for the rear bumper. The leafs in the back are almost flat and I'm worried the weight of the bumper is going to quicken their transformation into W's.
