Mor, my bad. i thought you just picked that truck up like it sits. Nevermind then, i was just lookin to see what a truck like that would bring. If you were to sell it what kind of range would you look to get?

You know, i really have no idea, good question......But I have a question, How much you you pay for a truck like this????

Why would you want to put the long leaf at the bottom of the pack?

And how about those shackles facing back?

And what is up with that double Ubolt SOA thimaginy on the rear axle? Looks like the stock mounting plate to hold the alien leaf pack together while the other ubolts are holding it to the axles?

Mor,

Its very interesting that you ask.....Are you considering selling or something!!!! Well to make things clear, i am a senior in highschool with not a huge amount of money. i wouldnt want to insult you at all but i think all i could through into a 2nd cruiser of my own is about 8500....although your rig looks like it has had a good amount of work done to it, as far as im concerned the only 60 that could replace my locked 80 would have to be a 60 that i could DD, have as much or more power then the 80 and have FF and RR lockers....sounds to me like your rig is mighty close. Would you ever consider selling your truck. i may be able to pull 11k or soo. any interest?

redrustbucket- hah, you thought blue chip had the 2 Fast 2 Furious look going with his blue drive shaft.......even the mighty blue drive shaft can't compare with this guys steering wheel cover!!!!!!

Yo, you ain't kiddin'. Flaming wheel cover wins out everytime. :flipoff2:
Sweet rig that articulation is killer. Those are stock springs SOA?

Wow, lots of questions.....

1) MMW68- Yes that is an Ipod mount...it is awsome, I aslo can plug my Ipod right into me cd player, sounds perfect!
2)Kwon-offroad- First off, the long leaf on the bottom is just an extra one helping the original sagging leafs, they will be replaced. Second, that is the factory mounting plate on the top of the springs, it is just a simple yet strong wasy to do it. And for the shackles...not really sure if they are forward or back. I know that the are meant to keep the srings from inverting, but I dont think they could anyway! Are they backwards??????
3) Redrustbucket- Yes they are they stock springs! They ride very very well and flex awsome! Im looking to replace with new ome!
4) Crusierhead- About selling........Its never really been my plan to sell, but things change. The only way i could, i would need to find a new vehical before since it is my only right now. Give me a bit of time to think it over......you can email me at "aaron@mor4wd.com" with any more questions. We'll talk!

And Im still trying to get some off-road pictures so bare with me!
Thanks for all the compliments! :D

Still trying to find my off-road pictures!

awesome...

i was accepted to calpoly and almost went there when i was looking at colleges 2 years ago, but i ended up a clemson, SC. San Luis Obispo is a beautful area though. I still want to surf more...only done it a couple times and loved it

Yes, San Luis is very very beautiful. Im loving it right now. Cal Poly is also very nice, what made you not go? As for surfing, there are some way nice surf spots out here, unfourtunatly I dont have much time to do it. I just need to find some guys to wheel with out here!

Looks like the front flexes great, but the back, not so much. Maybe I'm comparing the two too much, but I'd say that you had some restriction on the back end somewhere.

Oh yeah, Get a bumper!

Off topic I know, but I gotta admit, Cruiserhead, you've captured my imagination...a senior in high school with a sig line bearing all those Cruisers including late-model high-dollar variety and you're looking to add another...WTF?

Also, I hate to be redundant but that's one helluva an impressive SOA there, Mor.

Well I guess your right about the rear not flexing quite as much as the front, but I think it looks worse than it is. It also might have to do with that add-a-leaf i have on the rear. Hopefully soon the rear pack will be replaced. Oh yea, i do have a bumper now! Just a stocker.
Keep checking in, I should have some better pictures up soon!

my close friends from home (these guys are like my brothers) aren't in school, or are in the military so i wanted to be able to go home to see them when they are on leave, and go home for breaks without having to fly. Sometimes i think of what it would have been like but i love it at clemson too.

about the rear end flex, it's probably the add-a-leaf but i wouldn't worry about it, once you load it down with expedition/camping/surfing gear you'll be gald you have it and it will probably flex better then.

Yeah, you are right......when it is loaded all up, I am glad I have the add-a-leaf. And on the trail it sure does flex nicely. Now, if I can only find some damn pictures, or some time to take new ones!

Great truck. LowTide must have been in a bad mood, he usually gets pretty giddy over nice trucks such as yours. Could be to do with the fact that maybe yours is nicer? Then again he could be suffering from the hersey squirts due to to much Velvetta again. Either way love your ride, & all three great rigs on your website. Very nice.
