does anyone have an idea what land cruisers have the same chasis rear end measurements as my bj74 as even if i need to modify to fit just concerned about mounting points.

with my limited knowledge I would say all rear ends are the same, with possible exception to the Ute/pickup

Try Outback Extreme in JHB - they do one for the 75 ser Troopy, Pickup etc so it should fit the 74

well it only took 10 years, you will find lots of destroyed vehicles, can you believe the land cruiser club in south africa had writeups about this cruiser that i was worried as to what i was about to buy but i think most times people cant see the end result.

Thanks Theo I contacted outback extreme today they say they have built a bumper for this vehicle before but will let me know tomorrow. Thanks for the trouble

Hi Juan you are correct the dash was part of the engine replacement and the front axle does have leaf springs i would very much like to have a tachco and oil pressure gauge and volt meter but dont know if it is possible and if so what would work.

So it is a BJ74 with an engine swap. Impressive anyway.

South America and the Middle East got the 71/73/74/78/79 Series with the 1FZ-FE engine from 1998 to 2004 - 2006.

The 4.5 fender badges were used between 1992 and 1998 in all 70 Series models with the 1FZ engine. Some post-1998 Colombian models, with the EFI engine, have it as well.

It is possible to change the instrument panel. Some of the parts include:

7. GAUGE SUB-ASSY, WATER TEMPERATURE RECEIVER: 83883-6B360
