Something is up with the lift... Could be springs were reversed, put on the wrong end, or springs were not well engineered.

If reversing the springs won't give the desired results, you can drill a new hole in the spring pirch on he axle, and in the spring plates to move where the center bolt is indexed.

Well I took it in this morning to have the alignmnet done at at the shop I take my others cars to and there is a couple of guys there that know a thing or two about FJs (so they say), either way they are convinced something was put on backwards and they can take care of it for a "hundo". So its with them for the rest of the day. We'll see and I will let you know what happens.

Good luck.

Congratulations on your 40! Looks like a good one! Did you buy that in Falcon Colorado? There's a lot of very knowledgeable guys around with 40's if you did. Justin with Redline is just east of Falcon. He's a great guy, and always has a bunch of neat 40 stuff going on at his place.:steer:

Well, in short I was charged zero dollars for the work today. They kind of fixed my left turn radius problem, actually its a lot better than it was. Started the alignment but didn’t get further than fixing the toe in. Anyway, they basically said "we tried but couldn’t do it dude, try a 4 wheel shop".

And yes it’s from Falcon! Is Redline the name of the shop?

Yep. Redline Motorsports. Their website is redlinelandcruisers.com
I'm sure Justin could figure out whats going on with everything pretty quickly. Hopefully will see you on the trails soon!

I am taking it in to the shop to replace all the fluids down below, new fuel filter, oil change, pcv valve, tires balanced (thinking of putting some nitro in them?), run some sea foam through the carb (the spark plugs told me yesterday it is rich and needs some thicker oil, worn rings). If I have to leave the front drive shaft out for a while until I get the right size I will, but that front end is a mess right now and it handles terrible. I had it out on I-25 yesterday at 60mph. Oh, and the timing is off; I can turn the dist cap by hand quite easily..
