Dad drove a 60 series when I was a kid, traded up (up??) to a Nissan Pathfinder, and then found himself in a 40th Edition for a decade.
some wild hair got ahold of him and he sold the Cruiser for a little Mazda coupe- possibly his worst decision. He passed a few years ago and I inherited his 2WD Tundra.
I’ve had my heart on getting into a decent old rig since then and have just about talked my partner’s parents out of their 1997 LC. 305,000 miles and the leather seats and body show it, but the engine and drivetrain are pretty tight and no rust. Hoping a little love can take it another 100,000+! Any advice welcome!
