Well, finally got the chance to put in a new HU in the LC. Got the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD at a going out of business CircuitCity for $250 and rest of the stuff I had lying around in the garage. 12" Eclipse Sub Woofer and 1000W Sony Explode amp. The Hu is great and the installation was easy. The HU fits the the stock 2din location perfectly. I've also put in a switch to bypass the dvd for my front passenger to watch movies on a long trip. No I do not watch DVD whild driving. Here are some pictures Enjoy!:)

I would say that would be a better choice than the Scion HU based on fitting the double din location without cutting (?). The person sitting in the middle of the second would have a very good view of the DVD screen too.

That the same head unit we have..

We opted for the AVH-P4000DVD which doesn't have NAV, since we already have the Baja540. The thing i like better about the 4000 over the 4001 is that it doesn't have any moving parts. I don't want that for a off road rig. This replaced our flip out Pioneer that broke right away. We also did the mod switch for the DVD.

Like the looks of the HU. GPS in it also?

This HU has all the goodies, (Ipod, DVD, BlueTooth, XM, and MP3) except for the NAV. I don't need a NAV because I use my Iphone for that.

Yeah I had the flip out Pioneer too and the screen keep blacking out on me. I do think this unit is great for the LC. I've also installed the headrest monitor awhile back for the kids to keep them quiet.

How do you do bluetooth pairing with it to a cellphone? I tried with my razor and i cant figure it out.

I don't have a bluetooth adapter for the 4000dvd, so I don't have an answer for you. But on my 07 Camry I just turn on the bluetooth on the car HU and then turn on my phone bluetooth. The phone will try paired itself to the bluetooth device.

The Bluetooth adapter may cause you more aggravation than it's worth. I have it in my rig and and it's pretty hit and miss (but my phone is 3 years old)

The ipod adapter rocks though!!!

i got a bluetooth that works pretty good.....it's a button on the phone that's called speaker:flipoff2:
