steenh, thanks for the pics and info. I'm definitely liking the JT arms (they are local to me).

Have you tried going over any sharp speed bumps yet, does the front hit hard with only 2" of droop?

I'm thinking about keeping my t-bars where they are currently and add these LCA to just get more droop with the current height.

at 55 seconds... he gave them a good test Saturday

I'm very happy with them so far. The truck rides much nicer (a lot to do with overall fixes beyond just the JT Arms) but... No, front doesn't hit at all going over the same speed bumps that used to hit very hard. It's really a night and day difference, probably because I had much less (read way to little) travel before with the Tbars cranked up less than they are now.

I do think I will get some spacers though... the front tires are a good 1-1/2 - 2 inches inside the fenders now.

I was about to ask that, but was distracted by Kurt almost flopping the 80 lol

I picked a bad time to rest and not take pics... I was relaxing in the truck when he did his little "dance".

I had just moved out of the way, if it had gone over I would of been in bad shape. I'm shocked with all that steel it's not "tippier", although it did look pretty top heavy going through those 2 land roads. Me pushing him to go faster didn't help either  . I thought I was going to need a new windshield after following him home, I had to pass him to get out from behind him... I could hear the road debris blasting my front end.

That's what I needed to know, thanks! I will definitely be getting a set in the future. You have some serious from lift for not having any droop issues, these arms work well.

This weekend did you tuck a front wheel all the way up in the fender, was there still 1.5-2" of gap between the tire and inner fender lip? Nick and I were debating whether or not you can run spacers without hitting the fenders and causing damage. JT makes some nice spacers in 1.0-1.5" and I would like to install those as well.

My droop is right at the minimum "acceptable" at 2" / 50mm and I do have a bunch of lift in the front.

I definitely tuck the fronts every time out and had 295's at one time and didn't have any issues. Spacers I think would definitely help out... looks wise for sure.

If you are going to do some serious offroad trails you need the bumper, my front and rear have lots of scars from Cruise Moab. My Carl's UCA did not help much for these trails. The stock bumpers would have been shredded in the first mile.

slee front bumper cos it adds more to the looks of yur hundy:D

No, not because of the looks. It increases ground clearance, protects you from rocks and adds proper recovery points to your vehicle.

function over looks?

he cant tell, headlight covers block his vision.

what he said. Speaking of scars, I gotta get mine up on a lift and whip out the krylon when I get back to CO.

MEM, if you're all locked up and ready to hit the tough stuff I'd start with a little more armor(and adding the provisions for a winch up front) before adding more maintenance headaches to your front end. Unless your UCAs are shot as of this moment, there's no reason to replace them.

Running Fox shocks with Carl's UCA. Did need a custom eye to pin adapter to get full travel. Spresso gave me the heads up on custom adapter, stock one is too long so don't get full compression stroke.
Like Fox better than OME, especially with comp adj, can dial what I want. The new Slee's shocks are coming out, and they may work well for this app.

Ha i saw her at ACC when i took my 80 there. Sweet ride I was slightly jealous of that winch bumper . My girlfriend was my ride and i showed her all the models in one spot!! Owning a second rig is in the near future. I wanted her opinion. She likes the 60 series. Hmm i already own a wagon!!

That TJM T3 is my second favorite front bumper, following the new Slee. Slee's wasn't available at the time, and the TJM isn't available anymore. Glad I got it when I did!

See you in a few weeks!
