Updated post. $6900 with Florida manufactured trailer base and Florida title NEW. Let me know if anyone is interested as we gear up to produce these trailers.

We designed the prototype trailer base and built the top part using a new FJ43 tub which we modified. There is a large storage box up front. The interior and bottom of the trailer is textured painted. We used high quality PPG paint for the finish. The idea is we paint your trailer your Toyota color code in Colombia and then mate it with the Florida trailer. Note the custom tonneau cover. Note the rear valance and FJ40 turn signals. Rear tailgate is custom made.

Trailer pulls easily behind our 82 FJ43. Stops well no need for trailer brakes.

Photos of the tub. This is a brand new all steel FJ43 tub. Same body shop that painted our $54,000 83 FJ40 will paint this tub. Most likely will do a paint matched textured bedliner. The prototype has oversized 2 x 3 boxed frame and 5000 pound axle. For the Tampa trailer we will lighten that up a bit to 1 x 3 all welded and 3000 pound axles. Still will be an overbuilt tough little trailer with high ground clearance that you can put Toyota classic wheels on and 31 inch truck tires.

If I don't hear from somebody I will likely paint the trailer tub RED as to match my inbound 1982 FJ43.

This red truck getting a total repaint now. The wheels and tires are the same on this tub above and this 82 FJ43.

So the idea in the future is you can say I want for instance a mustard yellow FJ43 tub trailer with 31 inch BFG ATs on 15 inch classic rims with hubcaps. I can do that in 45 to 60 days. Hopefully quicker once I ramp up assuming interest in these. Starting at $6900 for now.

I think this makes for a pretty unique, tough little adventure trailer. The size seems perfect too.

Looks like around 800 pounds empty. Can haul 1500 pounds depending on the tires.

Working on the trailer making some modifications. will have rear 1970s/80s toyota tail lamps.
Front locker box we are modifying. 95% sure I will be sending the top half of this trailer then building the actually trailer in Florida. That will a new 50 state DOT trailer.

We will lighten this one up a bit due to the Tampa guy's recommendation. Still will heavy duty axle. and suspension and frame.

October 1, 2014. Many delays but our 82 FJ43 tow vehicle and trailer turned out great. We rebuilt the trailer TWO TIMES to get it right.
