New Exhaust on a 1996 1FZ-FE

I tried searching with google and found a previous thread - Bosal , your $200 cat-back option - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bosal-your-200-cat-back-option.949071/ ; however that Bosal is no longer available. Does anyone have any recommendations on what they would use these days from the Y down pipes to the tip? Everything is peeling rust on the exhaust, pretty sure its original to the vehicle. O2 downstream is throwing codes and I already have Denso replacements, but can't get the rust-welded nuts off even with a dremel (without damaging the studs). Found a leak in the upstream cat anyway, so it looks like I should just replace the whole bit.

Looks like I can source MagnaFlow for the cat parts, and I can go BRExhaust or Borla for the cat-back; or I can just go full custom 304 stainless, but that is probably outside my price range. Manta exhaust means I lose O2 sensors and cats - I don't have to pass inspections where I'm at, so that would be fine, but the CEL is annoying.

Rockauto also has some options - Ansa, Davico, AP/Eastern, and Walker - I have no clue on the quality of any of those parts though.

Try searching lots of exhaust threads. I use the Magnaflow 23120 and have a shop build from there. You don’t need two cats one will do the job. Only use the OEM gaskets.

Try searching lots of exhaust threads. I use the Magnaflow 23120 and have a shop build from there. You don’t need two cats one will do the job. Only use the OEM gaskets.

I stopped using gaskets and started putting in V band. To the OP I only use magnaflow cats and borla systems.. No real reason to build a stainless system .

thank you, I spent a long time on google first searching exhaust and site:ih8mud.com and somehow failed to find that one. Seems like consensus is to use the Magnaflow downpipe and custom build from there, or go Borla or BRExhaust; there's a few others with imported exhausts like manta.
