One question Greg: if the problem only occurs on the downhill, are you sure that the brake booster isn’t involved?

No, not sure. Haven't noticed anything that would suggest that...manifold vacuum the same with brakes on, I'm not touching the brakes when it stalls, what would rule out brake booster? Or rule it in?
