Power seat issue might be the seat gears, seat parts — Gamiviti - https://www.gamiviti.com/seatparts

I road trip and camp out of my 80 with the family and the only way we fit is by putting a ton of gear on a roof rack. I love my Gamiviti flat roof rack, for both looks and functionality, they're made to order and on the expensive side though.

Forgot about this thread, but I included updates in the first post.

I am basically replacing the entire braking system soon...pads, lines, rotors, calipers (150$ each new OEM). While taking a look underneath, I noticed the birfs look wet. Invoice from PO show birfs were done in 1/2022, and I have added 6k miles since then. Bad install? Cheap parts? Normal to look like this?

They are not clicking or making any other sounds. It would be a few hundred dollars worth of parts, an opportunity to buy some new tools, and a few days of work/cursing for me. Will be taking the rotors off anyway, but not sure what to do. Was thinking of cleaning them up and monitoring for new leaks, for a start. Appreciate any input.

There's a problem if you don't see a little grease build up or if the grease gotten thinned by gear oil and is making a mess. Yours look fine. Wipe them off, add some moly grease to top them up and check the knuckle nuts (passenger side particularly) to make sure they are still snug/torqued and you should be good to go for quite a while yet.

Good job keeping an eye on them and getting input to be sure.

Been a while since I updated my to do list on here.

I have been trying to stick to a systems based approach. Doing one entire system at a time including all new hardware. This way I know it's done and good to go. So far I got the entire engine, steering, braking, and suspension systems done.

My wheels arrived a few days ago but in the wrong color (black). Waiting for the correct set in dusk. Hope to install them this week. Next up will be the interior, but may take a break before I get into that.
