It's officially official

sidenote: my heritage lc is on a ship in the pacific as of 8/23. Arrives at port on 9/4.

Instead of MORE rack on the Heritage edition, they should have done a factory rack DELETE.

I prefer a slicktop look, but if you want/need a rack, their are better options available like Bowfin and others.

Concur. That rack is hideous. Stock rack should have been at least removed if not removed and replaced with something pimp like the one on this awesome 4Runner, which is mine. ;^)

deleting the rack from the factory on Toyota’s flagship utility vehicle sounds like a terrible idea from a sales perspective.

Guess the 100 series isn't notable enough for them to mention in the legacy column :frown:...

My theory is that when the next iteration Cruiser is taking longer than Toyota would like it to...or they hitdelays....they figure they’d come up with things like 40th...TRD Pro...and Heritage editions. Notice all of those came out just before an iteration ENDS?
-So maybe the 200 replaced the 100 RIGHT ON SCHEDULE...so no need for cutesy name to try and sell one...more...year...of the same....old...design.

But that is just my completely baseless idea. :)
Who knows... :meh:

You can have it in any color you want as long as it’s black (or white).

Cue Michel Jackson to remind us “It don’t matter if it’s black or white...”

If Dave at Toyota is really in the know then it sounds like we shouldn’t expect a 300 until the 2022 model year (which could certainly be introduced in early 2021), or possibly longer. So yeah filling in the gap with heritage, TRF, etc editions seems like a typical marketing and sales tactic.

Ugh. I may have to quit the internet if I have to look at stupid 300 series speculative threads on the 200 forum until 2021!

These are the 2020 models for the Middle East:

The only visible exterior differences are the rims really, and some accounts have compared them to Hyundai rims. Someone save the LC from death.

Looking forward to getting my hands on a 2020 Heritage in about 10 years.
