two quarts of oil and one quart of tranny fluid to stick in your battery box(as spares, not for putting in your battery). I always take a gallon of distilled water with me... for radiator or if i get really thirsty.
check your tool kit and add a few things if you need it. I like to take a little extra heater hose and some vacuum line, maybe a small section of fuel line and store it all tucked away in your tailgate.
If you don't have tailgate storage, that could be something to do.
while you are getting to know it, maybe less radio and more listening while driving with the windows down.

I usually tow another complete 80 behind me.....just in case.....
