Need to replace shocks on my 2005 100 Series - Suggestions or Advice Please

Still on original shocks.....161K miles

My wife's car....predominately city driving.

Texas truck....occasional trip to Big Bend National ark (some back country driving).

Any suggestions ??

Why the need to replace them? Go with OEM, cheap and long lasting.

I have 189,000 miles and still on the original shocks with no reason to replace. With 161,000 miles I would not replace them unless they are leaking.

I recently had mine changed and stuck to OEM (springs and shocks). I never considered the much heralded aftermarket options. My advice is to always stick to OEM whenever you can.
