I've searched around and havnt found a direct answer.
Im looking to get some 17s for my LC80.
Im thinking of going the steelie route just to keep cost down so I can put that money in other places.
What I want is to fit 33s, with stock suspension(for now). And want a little bit of a wider than flush stance(dont have over fenders)
Id like to avoid spacers if possible.
So what I need help figuring out is what would be ideal wheel specs to achieve this?

17x? With what backspacing/offset would work best? I do plan on going to 35s down the road after i get my lift too and dont want to have to get different wheels if possible.

Any feedback helps. Photos too!! What are you 33" guys rockin?

just buy 35's they'll fit on stock suspension, not much of a wheeler at that point..but why buy 10 tires when all you need is 5..

Well the thing is, I have a pair of 33s for free right now. But I have oem 16s and need 17s so that's why I need to figure out what 17" wheels specs will work the best

I have MB Wheels from Discount Tire @ About $100 - 125 each, new retail. I got mine used for 5 for about 250. 17 x 8.5 with 4.5 BS.

I've got the FJ cruiser 07 alloys with 35's but they're not wide like you'd want,I'm headed back to the stock wheels..I feel your pain on trying to find wheels not much help sorry. Free tires are nice!

4Runner steel spare wheels are same size as the FJCruiser wheels, but are a tad stronger and cheaper(<$100each)

I have 17” SCS wheels, couldn’t be happier. And the guy who sells them, what a pleasure to deal with !
