Hi,

Today I´ve notice that were to mount the torsion bar on the axle not are 90degre. Im doing a RHD/LHD conversion and I have to fabricate a new attachment on the other side but I want to make sure that I´m doing it right.

Does anyone know ?

My misstake!!!

I was talking abount the front lateral bars.

If you plan on using the OEM LHD lateral/panhard rod, I'd source one first before welding up this mount. The RHD to LHD conversion regarding the lateral rod is not just a mirror image of each other because the differential and it's clearance might dictate the angle of the rod.

I have the OEM LHD lateral/panhard rod and it has a different shape but the exact same length. So it seems to me that the distance is the same as but on the other side. My concern is that it's welded with an angel on the axel. If you take a look at my picture you see that's is not 90degree.

The axle and the panhard/lateral bar do not sit parallel to each other on the LJ70. So yes, the mount will be angled.
