I need to replace this plug and trying to figure out what is it. The markings don't have the usual NEMA label on them. From what I can tell it says 120/250 3phase 20amp

McMaster Carr has this one but isn't quite right

wikipedia has an entry on NEMA plug standards, they are all there. There are schematics that show the shape and spacing of the prongs and allow you to identify them all. That's what I use when (often) confused. Have a look. Yours looks standard.

I think you are looking for L15-20, 250V 3 phase

It would be easy to mix up with L14-20 which is 120/250v single phase.

We have L14 and L16-20 but not L15. I just hate to spend the money w/o being 100% sure.

This doesn't appear to be a L15-20 either :bang:

here is another one:

that is odd, I'm not seeing your female on that chart given the 250V marking and that it looks like the 3 "hots" are the same width and the G / N is a bit in from the circle of the other 3. Looked at a couple of other charts too, and no. Maybe obsolete?
Another male that has one narrower hot might fit assuming the circles are the same but you'd want to make sure the ratings are comparable obviously.
Worst case, you just figure out the actual V and I ratings of the device and get a new matching set that fits those specs. Not as easy as finding the correct male unfortunately.

interesting, that is not a NEMA plug. Odd.
How did you manage to find it?
