Anyone have a lead on this part or a non OE fix for one of these exhaust brackets? The rubber cushion on mine is in decent shape but the hanger is broken.

Hey @mogambosquid what did you end up doing to get your exhaust hangers? Any idea on a good aftermarket source for hangers? I have an '89 62, and from the Header all the way to past the Catalytic Converter there are no hangers. The brackets are still in place, but the hangers that go around the exhaust are missing.

Any clues would be great !!

Thanks,
Kristian

Aw
I recently bent a piece of steel, welded it to the pipe and drilled holes on the other end to mount like a muffler shop would. It was really quick and easy. I’m an oem guy all the way, but over the years, who’s exhaust is still original anyway
Awesome. That makes sense .I feel that the deeper I get into my many projects on my 62 that I will have to get into welding myself .

Totally agree a stock OEM exhaust on a thirty year old truck in great condition is a rare thing .

Thanks
