We are selling the old step-side bed that had been on our 1993 for a zillion light years. We already trimmed it alittle, but what would look readdy cool is if it were trimmed up even higher removing the side steps altogether. Check it out dude!!!

baja dan i love your truck

no fkn round with that sucker.

ill take a photo of mine tomorrow in the light you people will get a kick outa that

If the pics are too big, let me know.

It's an oldie...but a goody, imo. It's easy to fab, inexpensive and light for the truck. Just make sure you remember that in snow and icy conditions.

What she looks like: I like low sides. It makes loading and unloading easier but you may want to go up more so the stuff of the rear tire doesn't hit the bed. I also like that it looks proportionate to the cab.

More info on this, that looks awesome.

not sure your budget .. but toyota fiberglass has stock styles and custom beds , sides , fenders ......

So I went and checked out that site and I would not recommend anyone buy their products.

I work with composite materials and know a little bit about the do's and don'ts of fiberglass and carbon fiber, and the method they are using to shape the beds is not a good one.

If anyone wants more tech info on this stuff chime in and ill geek it up, but I would seek other routs personally.

oh and here are a couple photos of the bed on my DD
:D

Note the really nice one in the background that some jerk hasn't gotten around to attending to =P

haha ya but believe it or not that thing towed a 30,000 lb boat on a 3,500 lb trailer out of the ocean on a ramp with like a 30% grade to it.

I made it on the spot for that one instance and really have no use for it but cops give me a lot of grief for having a rear bumper at 4 feet so I just leave it in to alleviate those complaints.

I used a bed off of a golf course tractor, I cut the sides to go over some tread plate steel fenders (trailer) the bed is shorter than a short bed, cut the frame off at the spring shackle mount. I welded the bumper 5 1/2 inch channel iron to the frame. when I put the floor down I welded it to the bumper. I still have to build the tailgate. it will fold out 2 feet past the bumper, so my four wheeler will fit on the bed.

, the tail lights are military issue that I converted to 12 volt.

Here's my bed for my 1980. Sold it before I got to tailgate and lights, very functional, and provided plenty of rear end flex. Had more room till I chopped up half the bed and installed a fullsize tool box.

heres a steak side bed we made for our friend cliff.
The gas tank got relocated and turned 90 degrees getting it way up out of the way, and we made a metal box that got inserted under the bed where the spare tire carrier use to be.
