Need Advice Welding Around the Rear Seat Holder

Wondering if i should leave drain holes at bottom of rockers. Clearly they rusted because water had no way out.

Water will get in, and must be let out. When you're all done with bodywork/paint, drill holes (or remove rubber plugs) and squirt the rocker inside with white Lithium grease, Fluid Film, or whatever.

Okay! A few more little things and i was done dog barfing metal all over. Took it in to get painted and guy did a great job with the bondo.

Took it on trip today and its actually quieter inside. The giant rust holes were hurting the acoustics.

The back side of rockers have slots cut every 4 inches, covered with epoxy primer and i fluidfilmed everything. What with the new thick metal itll be a while before i need to weld this thing again.

The passenger side looks so good im tempted to get the drivers side done. But id be scary to be t boned on drivers side…

Oh and heres the nasty trapezoid patch from above. Thr white specks is the sky reflected in clearcoat runs. Im super happy.
