Need a power steering pump and steering box FJ62

My power steering pump is making a lot of noise and when it's cold, it gets even louder. I found some on ebay but I'm hesitant buying one off there. Just wondering if anyone can suggest a place that sells good used or rebuilt pumps?

I also need a steering gear box, mine has a ton of play in it. I've read where you can use them off an 80 series. Is that all 80 series of just 1991 - 1992?

The 80s series steering boxes are supposed to be great, but they are very difficult to find nowadays due to the swaps. I recently tried to source a used one online through national parts company and got ripped off - but I’ve heard they are available through junkyards. This will allow you to send an 80 series box in for a rebuild locally or through red head. Red head has great reviews on here but they require a core.

Or you can have 62 gear box rebuilt - just pick a well known cruiser shop or steering box shop. I’ve heard that if you are running 31” or less tires and not wheeling hard the 62 box is good. It’s already an upgrade of the early 60 series boxes.

You can use a steering box from any LHD 80 series. I've put 80 series boxes on both of our FJ60s and the boxes came from later 80 series.

Thank you guys for the help. I ordered a new pump, still looking for a steering box. If I understand correctly, any steering gear box from a 91-97 LHD 80 series will work on mine? Seems I read I'll need to use my own pitman arm?
