You dont watch the news do you...

The funny thing is....if some epic flood was happening in an area full of pathetic govt tit suckers who cant help themselves it would be the only thing on TV.

that's a fxxxing retarded statement.

I can jerk off

I like eggs

I am retarded

...Yeah, I have to come to your little world.

Though I have a feeling I have already been there. :hhmm:

I still need a cab for my truck

I looked at an extended cab, long bed, but they just aren't as sexy as the standard cab, short bed
Not in the 3rd gen pick up body style....IMHO

If you say so.

the eradication of an american city, 2000 people dead and tens of thousands homeless in a hurricane is he same as some farms flooding?

How many people have died from flooding this year?

I don't really consider those "2000 dead" and "tens of thousands homeless," due to a hurricane. Therefore, I can not compare death toll numbers. :flipoff2:

Besides, I dont think the people along the Mississippi would agree with your "just some farms flooding" statement.

The difference is the people along the mississippi are A.) Heeding warnings about flooding and evacuating themselves, and B.) are helping each other either protect their homes, or to get out. They are not sitting on rooftops waiting for somebody to come save them after ignoring every evacuation warning. They are not looting the towns that have been basically abandoned. I have a good friend who moved down to southern Illinois a couple years ago and is very, very near the flooding right now. She cannot get over how much everybody is banding together to place sandbags, run pumps, and genuinely just help out. People who have already lost their homes are sticking around to continue to help try and save others.

And like John said, ask some of the people this is impacting and see if it is just "some farms flooding". This is the third "500 year flood" in less than a century, and you don't see the news full of people whining and crying about it. They are too busy working together to save what they can.

By staying completely out of the above discussion.....

I found a cab in the Chicago craigs list

If the guy gets back with me, I might ask someone to go look at it for me

Its in Algonquin...is that near any of Yous guys?

He is gonna send me some pics & then I will know more

Thanks

Tanks Phil

I will get pics tomorrow & call the guy if it looks good

I will then let ya know if I need a drive by :steer: & look see

I may just have to start being nice to you, hope its worth it!:hillbilly:

Ive lost all my clients in that area since 2008. So im never up there.

But Phil should be able to give you the "go, no go." If he's up for it.

Thats exactly my point. What makes a disaster worthy of reporting in the eyes of the news? A horrible flood on a scale that makes katrina look like a backed up toilet? (pun intended) Maybe, only if enough people die due to [STRIKE]flood[/STRIKE] laziness, ignorance and the embodiment of everything that is wrong with this country. (except for Miracle Whip....that is the leading thing wrong with this country!)

Ok I will join in on this conversation, only to add that I agree, miracle whip is the biggest thing wrong in this world
