No s***, at least I got my money back from the zone

Had to go to bro-reillys to get my new master cylinder

Got a new one for less, so I gots $10.00 left over to go towards the mini!

Chrome plated plastic dual blade wipers, man

Cool!

Now that I found the cab in Chicago...I have found 2 more in Indiana

It figures

Found a door, if he don't sell them by the time I get there on Wednesday

Why is that all the bolts that are easy to get to come off easy

And all the ones that are a bitch to get to fight till the very end?

Just askin!

Now that I gots hi-speed interwebs
I will try to learn how to post pics of what's goin on with my project

Kinda a step by step progress of my restoration (if you will)

Right now its just all apart

Very little surface rust on the frame, nice!

Goin Wednesday to get the cab & hopefully the left door

Then the fun will begin.......

Glad you found one Tony, the one down here was parked behind a barn for a few years. Then the flood waters came. He said after the water went down the truck was about 500' out in the field, with trees and mud all packed around it. This should bring the price down if any one else needs one, just sayn.

Find out a price.....could be a good project for someone

If it was titled and insured im sure he is getting 10x the actual value from the ins company.

Actually I wonder if that is home owners.....maybe flood....

I think its homeowners if its parked at home

Im no expert.....but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express Hotel

Not so........I did not stay in a holiday Inn Express last night but I was an insurance adjuster.

I sit corrected

I would stand corrected, but, not today...feelin lazy

No this is now past saving. It sat under about 10-12 feet of river water for well over a week. It is now packed FULL of mud and covered in trees and trash washed along in the current. There is a lot of cars and trucks in this area that were under water so buyers beware.

So it could be a mud bogger
It is already used to it

How are the doors?

Just kidding!

Got my cab....not as "rust free" as I was lead to believe....

But still very fixable

Got the cab, hood & grille & light bezels & corner lights, etc all for $175.00

Big thanks to Joe for letting me help him clean out his garage
He really hooked me up with a bunch of great stuff
I ended up going home with a 4runner full of parts & a loaded trailer

Awesome trip...storms & all

Thanks for the burgers & bratwurst, too

Still need a drivers door..didn't have time to get that

Got lots of parts, now I just gotta put it all back together

You had burgers and brats at Joe's house?

:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Dont forget cocktails too. That captain 100 proof should not be as tasty as it is!! I figured you had school.

I left the Chi-town area prolly bout the time school was lettin out

I didn't know you had mini truck stuff to get rid of......

Ok, so I got a cab cheap

Sadly, not the cab I will be using
The windshield, slider back glass, complete interior, grille, etc are all in great shape
Hood is good & I can salvage some other stuff
The rest of the cab is totally rusted.......it all looked good, like surface rust, or even still paint
But as I poke & scrape on it it is just crumbling into pieces
Still.feel I got my $$ worth, just not a cab I want to use

The hunt is still on!!!!

One that doesnt have a bobcat rash on the b-pillar?
