I'm going to rip out my RS3000 alarm system and prep for a new Viper alarm with remote start but I only have a 96 EWD and I'm sure there's differences that don't cover my 97. Does anyone have an electronic 97 EWD you could share with me?

Thanks for the info, my searches did turn up all the attached links but nothing past the 96 EWD. Those referenced threads with the 96 vs. 97 differences are what prompted this thread.

Pretty sure I found a 1997 LX450 EWD. It matches the descriptions of the RS3000 ECU and harness references and validates @orttauq's posts regarding the location of the 12 pin connector in the driver's kick panel. I couldn't find many differences between this and my 1996 LC EWD except the 1997 version referenced all the theft prevention pieces.
