Hello!

Anyone have a GOOD used gas tank for under the seat of a 78 FJ40? Mine has collapsed from too much suction, a line must have been clogged that let air into the tank as the fuel was pulled out.

I might just buy a new one from CCOT not a bad price, then I don't have to worry about rust for a while.

Wanted to see if anyone had one they wanted to get rid of.....

Wow, and I thought the Merkey family were the goto people to get parts. Wish I could help. You're list seems a little short for current members. I may be wrong but I remember cashing a few more checks than the list has. I'm sure we will rectify it in short order between you, me, Jeff and Rob. Good luck with the tank.
 
Have 2 of them in my yard wrapped in trashbags. If you can, swing by and see if one tickles your fancy. There both from 78'S.
 
Yes, have LOTS of parts....just not a good tank.

Lost of tanks that need just a little work....but looking to get mine back together...

The list we need to get together on....have a few bad emails too!

Both of Sean's leak.....so I am still looking for a used tank...Before I go to Toyota or CCOT to buy a new one...

I have one out of a 73, not sure if they are similar or not, pretty sure it is good, been siting in the shed for a few years empty.
