need 12 71 speedo

I have the guage cluster and everything works great. I need the speedometer part (biggest part in the cluster). While messing around and trying to get the odometer to work I bent the crap out of the speedo needle and eventailly broke it off.

I just need the speedometer part, but it must have the screw in (threads on inside of where the cable goes in).....

Does that make sense?

Ahhh. What part of it? Does your cluster have turn signals in the speedo face or in dash?

I am sure I have what you need. I don't know what year mine are, mostly 76' and 77' but I think there is a 74' also. Are you going to be in KC anytime and you can sort through my stack???

If not, post up a picture and I will drop it in the mail to you.

No ...the blinker are till on the outside of the cluster as my 40 is a 12-71. There are only two types of how the cable hooks up to the actual speedometer. The earlier years have the internal threads and screws in and the other type just pushes on.

I would like to say I am coming to watch the Chiefs....but after their sweet showing against the Falcons.....prolly not.

I bought one off the classifieds. Hopefully it will work, but if not I will snap a pic and send it to you to see if you have anything I can use.
