National Luna Touch Light Bar - Parasitic drain from switch backlight?

I reached out to Equipt and didn't get a reply. I just unplugged the ground for now. The behavior was annoying. I really need to run power to a distribution box in the back, and run these direct to unswitched power and ground. I just haven't made time to do it.

@KLF Thanks for the photos and description. What are those little panels holding on the marker, flashlight, multi-tool, etc. to the drawers?

Most of them are a 5.11 Tactical product called a "Light-Writing Patch". TBH, I'm not happy with them. The elastic has stretched out, so now almost everything I put in them falls through and interferes with the drawers.

I found this on Amazon and like it more:

Amazon product ASIN B005CRPR6I

Equipt support suggested that I try disconnecting and reconnecting the light, give the light 30 seconds before using it once I’ve reconnected the wiring.

I'll give that a shot when I get the cruiser back (it is at a friend's shop having a nut welded to the stuck KDSS shutter valve screw).

To close the loop on this: The disconnect didn't solve the issue. I ended up running dedicated power from my aux battery. Now it works as designed.
